With 2 kW cooling capacity (7,000 BTU/h), it is designed for rooms up to 26 m² and combines cooling, dehumidification and ventilation in one compact housing. The PAC 2020 E is controlled via infrared remote control, control panel or via the TROTEC Assistant App via WiFi – even when on the go.

Description

Designed for smaller rooms
The PAC 2020 E is designed for smaller rooms between 7 and 26 m² – precisely for the rooms that heat up fastest in summer and are most difficult to cool: the bedroom under the roof, the home office without an air conditioner, the guest room that is only used during the hot period.

Cooling without disturbing sleep
Anyone who sleeps at night in the heat knows: Cooling only helps if the device doesn't disturb you. The night mode of the PAC 2020 E automatically throttles the fan speed, gradually increases the target temperature by a few degrees, and thus ensures calm, evenly cooled air – without a constant hum interrupting sleep. The timer can be set for up to 24 hours, so the device automatically switches off before the alarm rings.

The bedroom can be pre-tempered from the living room via the WiFi function – the room is at a comfortable temperature before you even enter it. The auto-restart function ensures that the device automatically resumes operation with the last saved settings after a power failure, without you having to get up and re-adjust it at night.

Home office: keep a cool head when it gets hot outside
Concentration measurably decreases from a room temperature of just 26 °C. The PAC 2020 E cools the workspace down to the set target temperature between 16 and 32 °C and maintains it there – fully automatically, without constant readjustment. Anyone who starts work at 9 a.m. can start the device via app at half past eight: the room is already at the right temperature for work, without you having to worry about it.

On humid summer days, it's not just the heat that's challenging – moist, stuffy air also drains energy. The dehumidification function of the PAC 2020 E extracts up to 1.5 litres of moisture per hour from the room air and can be used independently of cooling: On days when the temperature is already right but the air is still too humid, you simply switch to dehumidification mode.

Cool without landlord-installer
Split air conditioners are often not an option in rental apartments – they require wall penetrations, an outdoor unit and the landlord's written permission. The PAC 2020 E needs none of that. It only requires a power socket and an opening for the exhaust hose; the supplied window seal cleanly closes the gap. No drilling, no structural changes, no installer – and when you move out, you simply take the device with you.

The integrated condensate evaporation system automatically evaporates most of the accumulating condensate via the exhaust air – manual emptying is therefore rarely necessary. If the container is nevertheless full, the device switches off automatically and indicates it. If you want to operate the device permanently unattended, you can alternatively connect a condensate drain hose.

WiFi control
After a one-time setup in your home WLAN, the PAC 2020 E can be controlled via the free TROTEC Assistant App for iOS and Android – even when on the go. Operating mode, target temperature, timer, and night mode are fully configurable via the app. If you want to pre-temper the bedroom from the sofa, you don't need to buy a new app for that.
