Description

Up to 45 W fast charging
Super Fast Charging 2.0 delivers up to 45 W of charging power to supported Galaxy smartphones and tablets. USB Power Delivery 3.0 also allows the adapter to be used with many other compatible USB-C devices.


Intelligent power control with PPS
Programmable Power Supply adjusts voltage and current during charging according to the needs of the connected device. PDO supports fixed output voltages of 9, 15 and 20 V, while PPS operates within a 5–20 V range.


5 A cable included
The included 1.8-metre USB-C to USB-C cable supports up to 5 A of current and can be used for both charging and data synchronisation. A compatible device and 5 A cable are required to achieve 45 W charging speeds.


Low standby power consumption
The adapter consumes less than 5 mW when idle. Smart IC technology helps reduce energy consumption while the charger is connected to mains power but no device is being charged.


Built-in protection features
The charger helps protect connected devices against overcurrent, overheating and short circuits. A 100–240 V input range allows the adapter to be used with power networks in different countries when paired with a suitable plug adapter.
