Online multiplayer now supports up to 12 players on a single island. Local wireless play supports up to eight participants, making it ideal for shared play sessions.


Camera and communication
GameChat allows you to talk with friends while playing. By connecting a compatible USB-C camera, others can also see your reactions, making co-op play more personal.


Important to know
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition works only on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. If the game card is used on a standard Nintendo Switch, the regular version will be available without Switch 2–specific features.
