For the first time, the Zephyrus M16 is equipped with an AniMe Matrix™ display on the machine lid with 18,710 precisely processed apertures, making animations sharper and clearer than ever before. In 2023, we will also introduce a new matte black finish with a stealthy look and resistance to fingerprints. With four polished side panels and a holographic nameplate, the M16 stands out from ordinary gaming laptops for its style and luxury.

NVIDIA Advanced Optimus
With NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, the laptop can automatically direct frames from the GPU directly to the display using a MUX switch, bypassing the integrated graphics. This automatic switch also preserves your machine's battery as it can dynamically move between high-power discrete GPU and low-power integrated GPU. Full-round ventilation slots
Hot air always needs to go somewhere, so we redesigned the ROG Zephyrus M16 exhaust vents to ensure the best possible airflow. In addition to the entire back of the machine being an exhaust vent, the ROG Zephyrus M16 retains its side ventilation slots, providing ample opportunity for hot air to escape the system. We also moved the heat radiators closer to the ventilation slots, providing a direct route for hot air to exit the machine and preventing any recirculation.

Technology Tri-Fan
At the heart of every great laptop is a great cooling solution. Our new Tri-Fan technology directs air through precisely calculated cutouts in the frame, directing airflow directly towards internal components to keep them cool in any situation. A third auxiliary fan also helps to channel additional GPU heat directly into heat exchanges, keeping the machine cool during long video renders or gaming sessions.

Conductonaut Extreme Liquid Metal
Starting in 2022, ROG models will feature Thermal Grizzly's top-of-the-line Conductonaut Extreme, which further enhances liquid metal heat transfer. Compared to traditional thermal pastes, this indium and gallium-based compound offers 17 times higher conductivity in addition to reducing CPU and GPU temperatures by up to 15 degrees. Used exclusively by ROG, this material offers the highest thermal transfer available for laptops.
